AS WE WAIT - PART 1

We just finished the Christmas season and celebrating Advent where we wait for Christmas to come. We often wait and look forward to events that are coming. As Christians, we can celebrate Advent every year when we remember Jesus’ birth. We can also look forward to Easter, which this year comes early and will be here before we blink. But we can also wait looking forward to another time, a second Advent when Christ will come again for us.

Tonight I want to take you back to the Book of Jude as we finish up our study. To remind you since it has been some time since we were here, Jude is the half-brother of Jesus and is writing to the church to contend for the faith that was once for all delivered to the saints because false teachers have crept in and led people astray. He has warned them several times that judgment is coming and now he moves on to instruct the believers of how we must wait for the appearing of Christ again.

Let’s turn to the Book of Jude and see what he had to say. We will look at his message over the next two weeks.
