God is a merciful God. Did you know that?
If there are two cardinal doctrines that we depend heavily upon as Christians, it is the mercy and grace of God.
We are an imperfect people. We mess up on a regular basis. God is merciful and kind to us and does not give us what our sins deserve.
The people of Israel figured that out as well. Tonight, we are going to look at one of the longest recorded prayers in the Bible. As Kathleen Nielson writes in the ESV Gospel Transformation Study Bible, "it confesses before a faithful God the history of a faithless people."
